Instagram is a service that we really love and use a lot. But for a very long time there wasn’t a way to see photos taken on a specific location. Sure, you could click the geotag of an uploaded photo to see more photos, but there wasn’t a way of seeing all photos from, say Disneyland, Taj Mahal or your local pizzeria. Well, since Instagram didn’t provide that feature and we really wanted it, we just built it ourselves. Basically Worldcam was just a big Instagram search engine that let you find the latest photos from any location on the planet.
But as of last June, Instagram implemented this feature into the app and there wasn’t really a need for Worldcam anymore. Still pretty happy that we were about 3 years ahead of Instagram.
