Mamma Mia came out in 1975 and is one of ABBA’s many timeless hits. In 1999 “MAMMA MIA!” debuted in London as a stage musical based on ABBA’s songs. To date it has been seen by over 60 million people and played in more than 40 countries in 6 continents. In 2008 a film version of the musical came out, starring Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard among others. It’s one of the most watched musical films of all time.
With this insane track record of success, it was a lot of fun helping the next chapter in the MAMMA MIA! story come to life. In January 2016 “MAMMA MIA! THE PARTY” debuted in Stockholm. Here you get to step right into a MAMMA MIA!-world with a whole new story and different experience. You and your friends get to take over where the movie ends and MAMMA MIA! THE PARTY begins. Hopefully this can be experienced in more cities than Stockholm in the near future, just like the musical. We were mainly helping out with the digital channels, strategy and website.
