The Absolut Company brought together a small team of people from different parts of the world to help them create a completely new vodka brand.The vodka recipe was still being refined and it didn’ t have a name, bottle or logo when our group started working.We were mostly in charge of the digital channels and marketing but were also a key part of the larger creative team behind the product.
The end result was called Concá Vodka, and was a blend of sugarcane vodka Mexico with a corn vodka from USA.The name is taken from the Spanish phrase“ Con Carácter”, which means“ with character”.To our knowledge, this is the world’ s first blended vodka, and it was launched in Los Angeles in the summer of 2015.
